Few weekends on the NASCAR calendar carry the prestige of Indianapolis. Whether it was the on-track action at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park or the marquee events at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. While the on-track action generated memorable moments, the weekend also ended with several controversial headlines that sparked debate well after the checkered flag.

I don’t know if you could have asked for much more out of an ARCA Menards Series race. This has potential to be their best rest of the season.
Despite a lot of drivers being multiple laps down, the battle up front between the faster cars was nothing short of phenomenal. Adding guys like Kaden Honeycutt, Carson Brown, and Max Reaves into the mix for a win at a short track, you knew this race would deliver.
The battle for the win in the final 20 laps between Honeycutt and Brown had me standing. The added championship drama between Jake Bollman and Thomas Annunziata put more levels into the excitement of this race.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series – TSport 200
Greatness and domination was at full display at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park by Layne Riggs.
Riggs was untouchable out front, leading 198 of the 200 laps, the battle behind him remained competitive. Connor Mosack chased the No. 34 Ford throughout the night and crossed the finish line 1.148 seconds behind the winner in second place.
Overall, the TSport 200 was less about late-race drama and more about witnessing a driver and team execute at an exceptionally high level.

NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series – Pennzoil 250
After the record breaking 13 cautions at EchoPark Speedway, this race was refreshing and entertaining.

The 2026 Pennzoil 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway delivered one of the biggest moments of the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season, as Carson Kvapil captured his first career victory in emotional fashion.
JR Motorsports dominated the race from start to finish, making history by sweeping the top four finishing positions. Kvapil crossed the finish line first, followed by Justin Allgaier, Ross Chastain, and Chase Elliott, marking the first time in series history that a single organization finished 1-2-3-4 in the same event.

NASCAR Cup Series – Brickyard 400
The 2026 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway produced a memorable winner but a race that left some fans wanting more.

The limited number of green-flag lead changes was one of the biggest criticisms of the afternoon. Although several drivers showed strong speed, many of the moves for the lead came through pit cycles or restarts.
The race had plenty of memorable moments, with Kyle Larson blowing a left rear tire and John Hunter Nemechek taking out Ryan Blaney’s chances at winning $1 million.
Corey Heim’s breakthrough afternoon provided the headline the event needed. A second career Cup Series win at Indianapolis is a milestone that could mark the beginning of an even bigger chapter in Heim’s career.
