NASCAR Announces Grand Marshal for Talladega: Every Selection for 2026

The NASCARCup Series will honor yet another Grand Marshal at Talladega Superspeedway. The honoree will be country music star and lead singer of the Zac Brown Band, Zac Brown. The sport has long been aligned with its country roots via country music.

Brown will give the command for the Jack Link’s 500, which will go on track this Sunday at 2:00 PM from Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.

NASCAR Cup Series Grand Marshal at Talladega

Zac Brown has long been involved in NASCAR. His debut appearance was in 2010, in which Brown performed a pre- and post-race concert at Daytona. At that edition of the Daytona 500, Brown also sang the National Anthem.

In 2025, Brown was a part of the star-studded event that NASCAR put on at the Chicago Street Course on July 4th weekend. The appearance featured a concert on the Saturday before the race.

Brown has even been featured as a promotional piece, slapped on the No. 5 Chevrolet of Kyle Larson at the Fall Race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2025.

The Jack Link’s 500 will be the 2nd race of the season in which the Grand Marshal is a vocalist. Jonathan Davis of KORN commanded the cars at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last month.
