Serie A side Napoli are in contacts with Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa for a possible transfer this summer.
According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla, Napoli aim to capitalise on Federico Chiesa’s discontent with Liverpool and materialise a transfer for him this summer. The Neapolitans have stayed in contact with the Italian winger since January and Chiesa may force his way out of Anfield due to limited game time problems.
Napoli manager Antonio Conte likes Chiesa and has communicated his desire to his club to sign the Italian international. However, negotiations with Liverpool are yet to start, and it remains to be seen whether they can pay The Reds’ asking price.
A loan move with the option-to-buy could be possible, but nothing is concrete as of now.
Napoli tried to get Chiesa last summer but there was no possibility of negotiations with Juventus and the player got transferred to Liverpool, where he has struggled to fit into the system.
