Christopher Bell finally got the monkey off his back Sunday night.
After seven runner-up finishes without a victory this season, Bell passed Kyle Larson late at Darlington Raceway to win the Southern 500 and open the NASCAR Chase with a massive statement.

But while Bell was celebrating in Victory Lane, plenty of NASCAR fans were also watching for the person who has been alongside him through just about all of it: Morgan Bell.
And calling Morgan simply “Christopher Bell’s wife” doesn’t really do her story justice.
Morgan grew up around racing herself. Her father, Brian Kemenah, is a respected sprint car crew chief, while her uncle Chad Kemenah is a Hall of Fame sprint car driver. She eventually became involved in the family racing operation and has spent years around Christopher’s career.
She isn’t some random celebrity who happened to marry a NASCAR driver.

She’s a racing person.
Morgan has also become a familiar presence on Christopher’s pit box and around the NASCAR garage, while the couple’s appearance on Netflix’s Full Speed helped make them one of the sport’s most recognizable young couples. NASCAR itself has described the Bells as a rising “power couple.”
Now Christopher is heading into the Chase as one of the championship favorites.
And Morgan will almost certainly be right there.
NASCAR fans may know Christopher Bell.
