The Kansas City Chiefs have a lengthy list of departed free agents ahead of the 2026 NFL season, players who made an impact a season ago and are no longer in Kansas City.

The Chiefs’ secondary will be looking to rebound after losing All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie via trade along with Watson and Cook. That said, Chenal’s unique skillset covered a lot of ground for Kansas City’s front seven over the last four seasons.

Currently, the Chiefs’ receiving corps could stand to have kept either Brown or Smith-Schuster, just to have another experienced player behind the team’s top trio. The answer among this group seems to be between these two; it was time for both Taylor and Pacheco to move on from their careers in Kansas City.
