AS Monaco have been in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, with the Ligue 1 side hoping to improve on their current goalkeeping options of Radosław Majecki (25) and Philipp Köhn (27), neither of which have impressed when given their chance between the posts.
As per information from Foot Mercato, Monaco’s search for a new number one has seen them make contact with Serie A club Torino FC over the possibility of signing Serbian international Vanja Milinković-Savić (28).
The French outlet writes that there is ‘concrete interest’ from the Principality, but the player’s entourage are stalling as there are several big European clubs in the market for a goalkeeper this summer, such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and AC Milan.
Foot Mercato writes that Milinković-Savić’s value is expected to be around €18-20 million, but Torino could be open to a swap. Napoli are thought to be leading the race for his signature, and could look to include Cyril Ngonge (25) in the deal.
