This Date in Mets History

The Mets won via walk off on each of the past two years. In 2024, the Mets came back with three in the ninth, punctuated by an Omar Narváez bases loaded single to drive home the winning run to beat the Giants 4-3. In 2025, the Mets got a run in the eighth to tie the game, and Francisco Lindor hit a walk off sacrifice fly to finish off a 2-1 win over the White Sox on Memorial Day.
