The LPGA recently launched its new LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) ranking system, and Stanford’s Megha Ganne tops the list.

The 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur champion is fresh of a team victory for the U.S. at the World Amateur Team Championship. Ganne’s non-counting even-par 72 in the third round was the tiebreaker that won it for the Americans.

In collaboration with the World Amateur Golf Ranking, the LPGA’s new ranking system creates a direct route to the Epson Tour for top collegiate players. The rankings will update weekly each Wednesday through the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Individual Championship. The top 10 players on the Final LCAP Ranking will receive Epson Tour status.

The ranking follows a two-year cycle and includes results from both collegiate and non-collegiate events. Players who turn professional before the final ranking will be removed from the list.
