Heading into the 2025 LIV Golf League season, the rosters are fairly similar to what they were in 2024.
Of the 54 players who competed on LIV Golf in 2024, 48 of those will be back in 2025. Looking at the six new faces in the league, one of them played their way in through the LIV Golf Promotions event while the other five were signed by teams needing to fill holes on their rosters.
LIV Golf’s offseason focus was hiring a new CEO, signing a new media-rights agreement and revamping its schedule, which will result in the league going head-to-head against the PGA Tour’s biggest events. While none of those offseason signings are as notable as who LIV Golf has signed in the past, the league is banking that one of the young stars will break out and show a player can become one of the world’s best playing for LIV Golf.
But in terms of the on-course product and talent, 2025 is going to be similar to 2024.
