Meadow Greens-Ramsey Ladies Golf Club opens season – Austin Daily Herald

The Meadow Greens – Ramsey Ladies Golf Club kicked off the 2025 season with a game of Putts on Wednesday. 

Twenty-four players showed up to get things started. Members played a regular round of golf, and kept track of the number of putts on each hole. Winners on the front nine were Dianne Barrett and Judy McGuire with 15 putts each, and Ann Christianson and Ardie Pepper with 16 putts each (tie broken by handicap hole). On the back nine, winners were Karen Baier with 16 putts, and Joyce Anderson, Sheila Cotter and Patty Shatek with 17 putts each (ties broken by handicap hole).

Chip-ins were made by Sandy May on hole no. 14 and Carrie Schwirtz on hole no. 18.
