The Masters’ official X account shared a trailer for an upcoming feature about former Moeller High School and Cincinnati Reds standout Ken Griffey Jr., a National Baseball Hall of Famer, as a photographer.
“The Kid behind the lens,” reads the caption to accompany the trailer. “Photographer No. 24 premieres April 5 on NBC.” The special is scheduled to air at 1 p.m. ET. The 2026 Masters is scheduled for April 9-12.

In April 2025, Griffey took impressive photos as a credentialed member of the Masters photography pool, of Rory McIlroy’s reaction to winning the Masters for the first time in McIlroy’s career.
Griffey was also a photographer at the Ryder Cup last year.
“I get some doors open because of who I am,” Griffy says in the promo video, “but I take what I do very seriously.”
