Recent reports have suggested that FC Barcelona no longer consider starting left-back Alejandro Balde ‘untouchable’ and will study good offers for him in the summer.
And, it appears that clubs are already lining up to sign the young defender, particularly from the Premier League in England.

Three Premier League clubs lodge enquiry
Indeed, according to Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United, Manchester City and Aston Villa have all made enquiries regarding the situation of Balde ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old defender is under contract with Barcelona until 30 June 2028. His youth, physical strength, quality and development at La Masia make him a highly attractive profile, particularly in English football.
His pace and explosiveness are especially valued, which explains the sustained interest from leading Premier League sides.
According to sources close to the player, the interest is concrete and longstanding, although it has not yet translated into formal offers. At present, Balde is not considering leaving Barcelona and remains fully focused on the club he considers his home.

Barcelona, for their part, are not actively looking to sell the defender. However, given the club’s financial situation, a significant offer could be considered, provided the player is also open to it.
For now, Balde’s stance is clear: his priority is to remain at Barcelona and establish himself as a key figure in the project led by Hansi Flick.
He is currently the first-choice left-back, a status he has only temporarily lost due to a muscle injury suffered in the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid.
Balde is represented by Jorge Mendes, a trusted figure for Barcelona president Joan Laporta. The superagent has received enquiries from major clubs but has consistently stated that his client is happy at the Catalan club and not interested in a move.
That said, with his contract running until 2028, both the player and the club are expected to begin discussions over a renewal in the near future.
