Lexi Thompson took to social media on Friday to share engagement photos, and the LPGA star absolutely radiated joy. The 30-year-old Thompson said “yes” to Max Provost on Jan. 1 in Whistler, Canada. The couple posed with Thompson’s longtime tour companion Leo, her beloved Havapoo.
Thompson announced last year at the U.S. Women’s Open that 2024 would be her final full season on the LPGA. She teed it up in the second event of the 2025 season on the LPGA, the Founders Cup in Bradenton, Florida, where she tied for 13th.
The 11-time LPGA winner told Golfweek in Bradenton that she might play in the upcoming Ford Championship March 27-30 in Chandler, Arizona, as well as the JM Eagle LA Championship in California next April ahead of the season’s first major. As a former champion of the Chevron Championship, Thompson can compete in that event as long as she chooses.
As for a wedding date, Thompson smiled and said, “Next year, for sure.”
