The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) have announced that there will be two summer transfer windows this year, however, the first window only applies to Paris Saint-Germain.
The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup will take place this summer and the LFP’s summer transfer window will accommodate this. PSG are the only Ligue 1 club competing in the inaugural edition. Les Parisiens will have the opportunity to sign new players from 1st to 10th June, just after the conclusion of the Ligue 1 campaign. That window closes before the start of the Club World Cup on 14th June.
The second transfer window, which applies to all Ligue 1 clubs, not just PSG, will open on 16th June and close on 1st September at 20:00. The dates for the winter transfer window of the 2025/26 campaign have also been announced. The window will open on Thursday, 1st January and then close on Monday, 2nd February at 20:00.
