After the monumental trade between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks effectively swapping Anthony Davis for Luka Dončić was made official on Sunday, Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka showered his newly acquired star with praise.
In his first public statement after the trade was completed, Pelinka called Dončić a “one-of-a-kind, young global superstar who will lead this franchise for years to come.”
