The NASCAR Cup Series Chase standings have a new leader after a wild night at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Kyle Larson has taken over the top spot following Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race, moving one point ahead of Denny Hamlin with seven Chase races remaining. Larson finished second at Bristol, while Hamlin came home eighth.

Joey Logano made one of the biggest moves of the night. After winning the Bristol race, Logano jumped four positions to third in the standings. He now sits at 2,190 points, just 16 points behind Larson.
Christopher Bell remains fourth at 2,189 points, only one point behind Logano and 17 points behind Larson. Ty Gibbs rounds out the top five at 2,164 points.

Ryan Blaney took one of the biggest hits in the standings. After leading 202 laps at Bristol, Blaney was involved in a late race incident with Hocevar that ended his night. He finished 33rd and dropped to sixth in the Chase standings, now 52 points behind Larson.

Hocevar, meanwhile, finished third and moved up to eighth.
With only 17 points separating Larson from Bell, the battle at the top remains extremely tight. The Chase now heads to Kansas Speedway on Sept. 27, where another major shift in the standings could be coming.
Seven races remain, and the championship fight is already getting intense.
