Kyle Busch apparently had a very serious relationship with In-N-Out Burger.
His wife, Samantha Busch, recently shared a story about just how much the late NASCAR star loved the California chain.
The funny part?
She never actually ate the burger with him.
Samantha explained that when In-N-Out was on the menu, she would find ways to make it work at home. She turned the ingredients into salads and other meals, essentially creating her own healthier version of Kyle’s favorite fast-food run.
Kyle, meanwhile, got the real thing.
That little detail somehow feels incredibly Kyle Busch.
First stop every time we are on the west coast🍔🍟🥤I’m a Neapolitan shake & fries type of girl & Brexton’s leftover bun. I know- what about the burgers?! I haven’t eaten meat since I was 12!

He was a guy who knew what he liked, and apparently In-N-Out was firmly on that list.
Samantha also shared that she has never tried the actual burger with Kyle.
And now, she does not want to.
She has no interest in ordering one without him.
It is a small story, but that is what makes it hit.
Since Busch’s death, Samantha has continued sharing pieces of the person fans rarely got to see at the racetrack. Her recent tributes have focused heavily on Kyle as a husband, father and best friend, rather than simply the NASCAR champion everyone knew.
The In-N-Out story fits right into that.
It isn’t about racing.
It isn’t about trophies.
It isn’t even really about a burger.
It is about the tiny routines two people build together over the years.
And sometimes those are the memories that stick the hardest.
Kyle loved his In-N-Out. Samantha loved him enough to turn it into a salad.
Now she has no desire to taste the real thing without him.
That might be one of the most Kyle Busch stories imaginable.
