Natalia Bryant, daughter of late Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, made what People reported was her debut as a creative director by in a video posted Wednesday by the Lakers.

The video, titled Forever Iconic: Purple and Gold Always, featured current and former athletes like Shohei Ohtani, Magic Johnson, LeBron James and Luka Dončić alongside celebrities like actress Brenda Song and designer Jeff Hamilton.

One segment of the video featured Dončić calling “Kobe” as he shot a paper towel in a trash can, which was followed by a clip of Bryant himself making a game-winning shot for the Lakers.

Bryant, 22, graduated with honors from USC film school in May. She honored her late father during her graduation ceremony by wearing his “Black Mamba” logo on her stole.

In a January 2024 interview with Teen Vogue’s Kara Nesvig, Bryant said she wanted to pursue a career as a film director of “girlhood and ­coming-of-age stories.”

Bryant’s collaboration with the Lakers comes with less than two weeks remaining until the start of the 2025-26 campaign. James, Dončić and the Lakers are set to tip off the regular season with a home game against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
