Here’s how USA TODAY’s latest mock draft currently projects draft day will play out for the former college star.

Kenyon Sadiq 2026 NFL Draft prediction: Pick No. 19 overall, Carolina Panthers

Nate Davis’ Fit Analysis:

The first tight end in combine history to record a sub-4.4 40, Sadiq, who also had a 43-inch vert, certainly made some money in Indianapolis. And maybe he gets paid in Charlotte, where the Panthers haven’t gotten much from their tight ends in recent seasons and could use another weapon that would provide an easy target for QB Bryce Young. Sadiq is also a willing blocker in the run game.

Ayrton Ostly’s Big Board Rank: No. 12

Like Love at running back, Sadiq is the runaway No. 1 tight end prospect in the class. The Ducks’ tight end is a young prospect with plenty of development potential. He’s an outstanding athlete at 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds who can be a vertical threat in an NFL offense – shown by his outstanding combine performance. His willingness as a blocker should only improve his abilities in time to complete his game.

Campus Intel:

Featuring mostly as a reserve pass-catcher in his first two seasons at Oregon behind future NFL players Terrance Ferguson and Patrick Herbert, Sadiq took the limelight in 2025 and put in one of the most productive seasons for a tight end in Ducks history. Sadiq has elite athleticism for his position and will be a creative tool to use for any team that drafts him in 2026. — Alec Dietz, Eugene Register-Guard
