Keegan Bradley, Scottie Scheffler News Emerges on Tuesday After Travelers Championship originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

Keegan Bradley lifted the Travelers Championship trophy on Sunday after a well-fought weekend, finishing with a one-shot advantage over Tommy Fleetwood.

But it seems like he did more than just win. He also beat Scottie Scheffler in style and popularity.

On Tuesday, CBS released its viewership data. The weekend coverage drew an astounding 3.519 million viewers, a 35% increase from last year’s 2.607 million for the Scheffler-led event.

It became the second-most-watched final round of the tournament in 22 years. The viewership peaked at 5.435 million viewers.

Breaking down the numbers, CBS attracted 2.442 million viewers for Saturday’s third round, the strongest turnout for that segment since 2002.

For the entire weekend, the network averaged 2.939 million, reflecting a striking 64% jump over 2024. Sunday alone ranked as the third‑highest non‑major broadcast of the year, trailing only The Players Championship (3.6 M) and Heritage Classic (4.362M).

John Carpenter posted, “Golf Channel’s Thursday-Friday coverage averaged 580,000 viewers, up 40% from last year. Likely given a boost with the holiday on Thursday.”

On course, Bradley captured his second Travelers Championship title (the first being in 2023), rallying from three shots down with four to play and clinching victory with a birdie on the 18th over Fleetwood and Russell Henley.

After his victory, fans started demanding that Bradley become a playing member for Team USA in the upcoming Ryder Cup and that Phil Mickelson captain the team.

This speaks volumes about his popularity and also underscores the reason for those viewership numbers.

Bradley will be teeing off again this Thursday at Detroit Golf Club for the Rocket Classic event, which Scheffler has decided to skip. The world No. 1 is next scheduled to compete in the Genesis Scottish Open, which is scheduled for July 10-13.
