KANSAS CITY, Mo. — NASCAR announced Wednesday that Kansas Speedway will once again host two NASCAR Cup Series race weekends in 2026.
The spring weekend of action next year is slated for April 18-19, followed by the return of the NASCAR Playoffs on September 26-27.
The opening weekend of Kansas Speedway’s 2026 slate will be highlighted by the Cup Series’ AdventHealth 400 on April 19, 2026. The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will begin the weekend’s action on April 18, 2026.
The Hollywood Casino 400 Cup Series Playoff Race on Sept. 27, 2026, is the cornerstone event for a weekend that also includes the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Playoff race on Sept. 26, 2026.
“NASCAR racing at Kansas Speedway is always phenomenal, so this provides fans with a pair of exciting opportunities to enjoy it in person,” said Kansas Speedway President Pat Warren.
“And there is still time for fans to experience it first-hand in 2025 with our upcoming NASCAR Playoffs Weekend, so we’re eager for the roar of the engines to return next month.”
Those engines will be in full song Sept. 26-28 with three high-octane races next month. Racing begins Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, with the ARCA Menards Series’ Reese’s 150, followed by the Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.
On Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, the Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12 will continue with the Hollywood Casino 400.
