Juventus beat their NextGen team 2-0 with Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic goals, but the Serbian was loudly jeered by fans and Fabio Miretti sustained an injury.

However, this was far from a celebratory affair, as coach Igor Tudor’s starting XI raised some eyebrows, including players on their way out like Douglas Luiz, Filip Kostic, Nico Gonzalez, Lloyd Kelly, Daniele Rugani and Miretti.

Douglas Luiz opened the scoring with a rare header, then provided the assist for Vlahovic to beat the on-rushing goalkeeper.

Notably, some of the crowd jeered as Vlahovic found the net, and he pointedly did not even attempt to celebrate the goal either.

His contract expires at the end of the season and Juventus are rushing to get him out before he leaves as a free agent next summer.

There was more bad news for Tudor, as Miretti pulled up with a muscular problem after 43 minutes and was forced to hobble off the field.
