Justin Bonsignore Headlines Stacked SMART Modified Tour Entry List For Pulaski Motorsports Park

The star power on the 2026 SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic is undeniable. And now, the entry list for “The Radford Race” at Pulaski County Motorsports Park on Friday, August 7, might be one of the most notable of the season.

2026 SMART Modified Tour at Pulaski Motorsports Park

NASCAR Cup Series winner Jamie McMurray returns to the seat of the Sadler-Stanley Racing number 16 to race alongside his son, Carter McMurray. The former Daytona 500 winner made his debut on the tour at Franklin County Speedway in May, but was caught up in an early race accident.

Two of the most successful NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour drivers in recent years highlight the robust entry list. Patrick Emerling, winner of three-in-a-row in July on the NASCAR Tour is entered at Pulaski in a Phil Stefanelli owned number-17 car. He is joined by Justin Bonsignore, who will pilot the Ken Massa owned number 51. The four-time Whelen Tour Champ last raced on the SMART Tour in 2024 – he won the season finale at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Fresh off a big win at New Jersey’s Wall Stadium, Garden State driver Jimmy “Showtime” Blewett will also race with SMART for “The Radford Race.” It will be Blewett’s third race of the season with the SMART Mods. He has yet to win a race despite finishing runner-up on three different occasions in 2024.

Ryan Newman is the other Daytona 500 winner in the star-studded field. The Indiana native sits second in the SMART standings, but is still looking for his first win of the season in the potent Randy Renfrow ride. Newman won three times last season.

The red-hot Danny Bohn leads the usual SMART stars entering Pulaski. Bohn has taken the Team 25 car to victory lane three times in 2026 and leads the championship standings by 19 points over Newman.

Southern Modified “Ace” Burt Myers enters this weekend third in points. Myers is the current NASCAR Modified division points leader at Bowman Gray Stadium, where he has four wins thus far, while competing for his 12th track championship.

Defending Bowman Gray Champion Brandon Ward will return to action with a brand new FURY chassis. The Kevin Powell Speed Motorsports primary car was destroyed in a hard crash at Caraway Speedway’s Revolutionary 99 on July 4th. Ward finished fourth in the most recent SMART race (2023) at Pulaski.

Jake Crum, who captured his first career SMART win in the Kenny Minter Classic two races ago, sits third fourth in the championship standings. The former Valley Star Credit Union 300 (Late Model Stock Car) winner at Martinsville Speedway will take on Pulaski in a modified for the first time. His wife, Annabeth Crum, will race a Crate Modified after the SMART races is completed.

Joey Braun recently picked up the Bubba 150 NASCAR Modified win at his hometrack of Riverhead Raceway in New York. The sophomore SMART driver is fifth in points, but still looking to claim the first victory in the series.

The Baldwin boys are among the favorites for the victory in Virginia. Two-time and defending SMART Modified Tour champ Luke Baldwin is still looking for win number one in 2026. The part-time NASCAR Truck Series driver is a seven-time winner in SMART competition. His older brother, Jack Baldwin, is seventh in points and knocking on the door of his first victory with the series.

Joey Coulter IV had one of his best runs of 2026 at Caraway. The former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series winner looks to build on the momentum built in the July race with his Harold Holley led team.

Canadian racer Cayden Lapcevich is entered in the Prototype Racing Fabrication number-13 modified. This former Winchester 400 pole-sitter was the 2016 NASCAR Canada Series champion.

The Radford Race at Pulaski is a 99-lap contest in honor of Southern Modified legend Paul Radford. It is the ninth race of fourteen on the SMART Modified Tour powered by Pace-O-Matic season.

Pulaski County Motorsports Park, formerly known as Motor Mile Speedway, will host its first race with SMART since 2023.
