Justin Allgaier is enjoying a very successful year in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series during the 2026 season. Entering May, Allgaier has three wins, eight top-5 finishes, nine top-10 finishes, and a 7.5 average finishing position. The driver of the No. 7 car has a mind-boggling 161 stage points, producing a very large lead for the regular season championship.

Allgaier leads the O’Reilly Series regular season standings by 105 points over second-place Sheldon Creed. Meanwhile, Jesse Love, who sits third in the standings, has a 141-point deficit to Allgaier. Needless to say, the JR Motorsports driver has been incredible through 11 races.

After winning three times in four races, Allgaier has cooled down compared to his previous standards. Allgaier has three top-4 finishes in the last four races and a 23rd-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway. There is a long way to go until the Chase, but Allgaier should be the championship favorite for the foreseeable future.
