A junior golfer just accomplished many golfers’ lifelong dream, and he did so in front of PGA Tour pro Tony Finau.

Hitting a hole-in-one is arguably the greatest feeling of all-time. It’s right next to getting married, or witnessing the birth of your first child. Most people wouldn’t know though. Aces are elusive. They come when you least expect them, and you can only hope that your friends and/or golf partners are there to witness it.

Obviously, the best-case scenario is having that momentous occasion filmed, offering undeniable proof of one of the greatest accomplishments in sports. Well, everything came together for junior golfer, Emery Johnson.

Where is Tony Finau in the video?

Contrary to what many people seem to think, Finau is not the man at the start of the video with “Finau” across his back. This was a junior PGA event, and that is Finau’s son Jraice. As you can see, Jraice was one of the first people to congratulate Johnson on his shot, nearly pushing him over in excitement.

Tony Finau does not come into frame until later, stepping in front of Johnson as Jraice lifts him up. Tony even high-fives Johnson for the incredible shot.

How old is Emery Johnson?

Johnson is 12 years old.

Johnson and Finau are both part of Team Utah in the National Car Rental PGA Jr League Championship. Despite Johnson’s ace, it’s actually Team Georgia who led after yesterday, with both Florida and Utah just a few strokes behind.

How far was the hole?

The hole was 132 yards away. Johnson hit this incredible shot with his 6-iron.
