Jon Rahm returned to the winner’s circle in style at LIV Golf Hong Kong on Sunday, collecting a $4 million payday.

The Spaniard closed with a six under 64 to finish the tournament at 23 under par, three shots clear of Thomas Detry. His performance included a brilliant second round 62 that set up the victory.

Rahm’s triumph marked his third LIV Golf title and also ended a drought that stretched back to LIV Golf Chicago in September 2024, a wait of roughly 18 months without an individual win.

Rahm sealed the title with a confident final round at Hong Kong Golf Club.

His winning total of 23 under par placed him comfortably ahead of Detry, while Thomas Pieters finished third after another strong performance.

The victory was particularly significant given Rahm’s recent stretch without lifting a trophy, despite consistently finishing near the top of leaderboards.

Last year, he won the LIV Golf individual title without recording a single win during the season.

After the Spaniard earned the $4 million prize, some fans joked about him being able to rethink his refusal to pay the DP World Tour fines.
