Ahead of his scheduled title defense against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 on Saturday at Madison Square Garden, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has doubled down on his desire to face light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira in a super fight.
“If the bosses don’t want the Alex Pereira fight to happen, then I’ll just move on with my life,” Jones told reporters at Wednesday’s media day event. “You can either lose me, or get one more super fight … and that’s with Alex Pereira.”
