Influencer fighting has grown rapidly in recent years. Logan Paul and Jake Paul have expanded their reach well beyond their original internet followings through bouts in the ring. Now, a former NFL star and a familiar Buffalo Wild Wings commercial voice will face off in the cage on Saturday.

Adin Ross’ Brand Risk 14 MMA card will take place Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will headline the card against internet personality Bob Menery.

The two have taken vastly different career paths but will be matched up against one another. Because of those divergent paths to fame and wealth, they’ve built their fortunes in very different ways.

Here’s what to know about the Manziel vs. Menery purse and each fighter’s career earnings.

Johnny Manziel vs. Bob Menery fight purse, prize money

It is unclear how much Johnny Manziel and Bob Menery will be paid following their fight Saturday night. The purse is also not the only topic of discussion surrounding this headline bout.

On an episode of the “One Night with Steiny” podcast, Menery revealed that he believes Adin Ross will be paying him around $200,000. That number has yet to be verified, and it is still unclear how much Manziel will be paid.

In April, UFC President and CEO Dana White believed Menery would pull out of the contest prior to stepping foot into the cage.

“Menery is back and he has supposedly signed a deal on Adin Ross’ fight show down in Miami to fight Johnny Manziel,” White said in an Instagram video, according to Yahoo Sports. “So Menery hits me up and says ‘who are you betting on?’ I said ‘I’m betting on you don’t even show up, that’s my bet.’”

“There’s no way in hell, so I’m betting $10,000 Menery does not show up. And Bob, if you do and the night before it looks like you’re going to fight, I’m flying to Miami to watch this one.”

Polymarket currently has a poll asking if Menery will even enter the ring. The poll currently sits at 71 percent, as of Friday evening, but featured a percentage as low as 41 percent last month. Menery did appear at the prefight weigh-in, so White’s money may be in jeopardy.

Manziel made headlines during his collegiate career at Texas A&M after the quarterback was caught selling his autographs for a profit, which was against NCAA regulations at the time. With the current NIL rules, players are now able to make a profit off their image and likeness.

Manziel has earned $7,707,913 from his NFL days, according to Spotrac. After being selected No. 1 overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, Manziel signed a four-year, $8.24 million rookie contract with the Cleveland Browns. That deal also included a signing bonus of just under $4.32 million.

Due to lackluster play on the gridiron, the team cut him after just two seasons (eight starts, 2-6 starting record). In his “Untold: Football” Netflix documentary, Manziel revealed that he had spent $5 million after being cut from the Browns, according to CBS Sports.

Menery is valued at about $5 million, per Captiontap. Menery accumulated the majority of this worth through his internet personality and various brand sponsorships.

Menery’s most notable business venture came as the voice of Buffalo Wild Wings. Many people on the internet have drawn Menery’s voice to the likeness of a sports broadcaster, a skill that he mimicked in an advertisement for the wings restaurant.
