La Primera captured the Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza on September 20 and Saturday in Australia, she added to her suddenly brimming resume, defeating Tiffany Stratton to win the 2026 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
A good, competitive match saw Stratton turn in one of her better performances of late, hanging in there with one of the best workers on the roster. This was all about Vaquer, though, who bested the top competitor on the SmackDown women’s roster to take home more hardware and further cemented her status as an elite performer in pro wrestling’s top promotion.
Always humble, she continued to connect with the audience in Australia and received a star’s welcome and celebration. La Primera is already on the level of her most decorated peers and should be for the foreseeable future.
Wins like Saturday’s only further establish just how hard the company is pushing her, a sign of their belief in her to be one of its faces for years to come.
