Jin Hee Im needed only 23 putts in a record-tying 10-under 62 in the final round of the 2025 FM Championship. The South Korean birdied nine of the first 12 holes at TPC Boston to kick off a 59 watch early Sunday afternoon. She cooled off on the back nine, however, making five consecutive pars before draining one last birdie on the 18th.
Now in her second year on tour, Im raced up the board at 15 under for the tournament and currently sits in a share of third, five strokes back of leader Miranda Wang.
Im, 27, hit 15 greens in regulation and 10 fairways en route to a career low of 62, which ties the tournament record set by 2024 FM winner Haeran Ryu.
After birdieing the first two holes, Im said she kidded with her caddie that she’d try for 18 birdies. She enjoyed three fine stretches of red – with birdies on her first three holes and then again on Nos. 9-12.
“Just so happy,” she said after the bogey-free round. “It’s really awesome.”
A six-time winner on the KLPGA, Im teamed up with Somi Lee earlier this year to win the Dow Championship for her first LPGA victory.
