Ja’Marr Chase got off to a slow start in Week 1 with just 2 catches for 12 yards.
He’ll be at the top of the highlight reels for Week 2.
With Chase’s Bengals locked on a scoreless tie late in the first half against the Houston Texans, Chase got Cincinnati on the board in spectacular fashion.

On first-and-10 from the Houston 32-yard line, Chase ran a post route down the right sideline. Texans cornerback Derek Stingley had tight man coverage on Chase, but no help over the top.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow didn’t hesitate to look Chase’s way. He uncorked a deep pass toward the end zone.
Chase got just enough separation from Stingley as he tracked the ball, then turned around and snagged the ball out of the air with his feet at the end zone pylon. He secured possession with his right foot down, then got his left down in the end zone, just barely inbounds as he fell out of bounds.
Both of his feet were down as he had possession of the ball, and the Bengals stuck first on the scoreboard for a 7-0 lead.

Chase is coming off a second consecutive season with 125-plus receptions that earned him his fifth Pro Bowl nod and third career All-Pro selection. His slow start in Week 1 was notable, but no real reason for concern. As long as he’s healthy, Chase remains one of the game’s best receivers and most dangerous offensive weapons.
