Inter Milan drew 2-2 away to Parma this weekend.

It was a disappointing result, to say the least, for the Nerazzurri. Particularly considering that they had been 2-0 at halftime at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Goals from Matteo Darmian and Marcus Thuram had Inter in control at halftime.

However, in the second half Parma fought back.

And then substitutes Adrian Bernabe and Jacob Ondrejka scored twice in the space of nine minutes. After that, Inter had no response.

As Opta highlight in a tweet, this was not the first time that Inter have thrown away a two-goal advantage this season.

They tweeted, “For the second time in #SerieA this term, #Inter have drawn a game after leading by 2 goals – also doing so in Inter-Juventus 4-4 last October; the Nerazzurri also conceded 2 goals in the 2nd half against Bianconeri on that occasion. Slowdown.
