AC Milan pulled off a stunning 3-0 win against bitter rivals Inter in tonight’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg at San Siro.
Luka Jovic scored on either side of halftime to hand Sergio Conceicao’s side a comfortable two-goal cushion.
Then, Tijjani Reijnders put the final nail in the coffin of Inter’s treble hopes in the 85th minute.
It was the fifth time Inter failed to beat Milan this season.
Furthermore, they lost three of those five meetings, including the Supercoppa Italiana final in January.
Per Opta, Inter have lost three Derby della Madonnina editions in one season for the third time in club history.
The last time that happened was in 2004/05.
