The Colts will host the Lions on Saturday, Aug. 29 in Indianapolis for one final exhibition game before the regular season begins. Each head coach will have to determine whether he lets starters have one last chance at a tune-up during the preseason Week 3 game.

Steichen has already announced that the Colts will play many of their starters – but not quarterback Daniel Jones or running back Jonathan Taylor – on Aug. 29. Anthony Richardson will start at quarterback instead. Campbell has not yet made a public decision.
Indy is seeking its first win of the preseason after tying a first game against the Patriots before losing to the Falcons last week. Detroit is 1-1 after it defeated the Commanders in preseason Week 2.
