Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau are arguably the two biggest stars on LIV Golf, which remarkably may not exist in the near future.
LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil was forced to ease any such concerns by assuring players that the 2026 season will continue as normal, starting this week.

LIV Golf Mexico City takes place at Club de Golf Chapultepec, just after reports emerged that funding for the league could come to an abrupt end.
With a change in strategy expected from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), LIV Golf would be forced to look elsewhere for funding.
LIV Golf clearly isn’t sustainable, which perhaps is not at all surprising given the astonishing figures that its players have earned since its inception in 2022.
Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau in LIV Golf top five money list
With his figure of $87.7million, two-time major champion and former world number one Rahm tops the LIV Golf career prize money list.

And his fellow two-time major winner DeChambeau boasts a total of $58.4million, ranking him fifth in the all-time list.
Such tallies do not include signing bonuses, which would have been welcomed with open arms by the players upon joining the Saudi-backed tour.
They have been rewarded handsomely on a financial level for making the switch, but all involved are now heading for a very uncertain future.

The LIV Golf career prize money top 10
For context, Rory McIlroy has earned $114.7million throughout his entire career on the PGA Tour, having just added $4.5million to that total for winning The Masters.

His figure ranks him second on the all-time PGA Tour money list, behind only the $120.9million earned by 15-time major champion Tiger Woods.
Rahm has been the standout figure on LIV Golf since joining, having clinched back-to-back individual titles.
And he’s followed by Joaquin Niemann in the career money list, with his $71.6million figure just ahead of Talor Gooch’s $68.7million in third.
Dustin Johnson is fourth with $64.1million, just ahead of DeChambeau, while Cam Smith sits in sixth place on $50.9million.
Sergio Garcia occupies seventh spot with $46.4million, with Brooks Koepka eighth on $44.7million, having recently left LIV Golf for the PGA Tour.

Completing the top 10 are Branden Grace and Patrick Reed, who have earned prize money of $39.3million and $37.5million respectively.
