On Sunday afternoon, the 2025 Masters Tournament officially came to a close in thrilling fashion when Rory McIlroy defeated Justin Rose in a playoff after the conclusion of the fourth round.
A tournament one of sports’ biggest stages that featured multiple former Alabama Crimson Tide golfers, we know how some of the top names such as McIlroy and Rose did, but what about the former Crimson Tide stars? Were any in contention atop the leaderboard going into Sunday, and how did they perform in Augusta’s final day?
Here is a look at how every former Alabama golfer performed during the fourth round Sunday in Augusta, as well as where each finished the tournament on the leaderboard.
Justin Thomas
- Tournament Score: +2
- Round 4 Score: -2 (70)
- Position: T-36
Thomas ended the Masters on Sunday with his best round yet in Augusta, posting a 70 (-2) after struggling with a 76 on Saturday. For the tournament, Thomas ended the 2025 Masters at +2, which was tied for 36th place.
Davis Riley
- Tournament Score: -2
- Round 4 Score: -3 (69)
- Position: T-21
Riley was the top performing former Alabama golfer at the 2025 Masters, finishing -2 for the tournament to place tied for 21st. In the fourth round Sunday, Riley posted a score of 69 (-3), his second of the tournament.
Nick Dunlap
Dunlap was the lone former Alabama golfer who did not make the cut to play during the weekend. In his two rounds, Dunlap posted a score of 90 and 71, respectively.
