Cristiano Ronaldo is now set to represent Portugal in the World Cup for the sixth time.
The 40-year-old watched from afar as the Seleção cruised to a 9-1 win over Armenia on Sunday to secure a place in the 2026 World Cup.
Assuming he takes part, Ronaldo will become the first men’s player to appear in the tournament across six different installments.
