The Eagles are signing Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to a one-year deal, and adding his speed and experience to the Philadelphia offense is one of the more exciting moves from free agency. Brown has played for three teams in his seven seasons, but was able to stay relatively healthy last season in Kansas City, and should be a good addition for new OC Sean Mannion and Co. this coming season.

For his part, Brown hasn’t publicly celebrated the news, but he has retweeted several posts about him signing with Philadelphia, including one that pointed out his near-overlap in college with QB Jalen Hurts at Oklahoma.

Here’s what people in the media and around the league are saying about the Eagles adding Brown to a WR room that currently includes A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. The general consensus is that he’s not being added to compete for WR1, but as a third receiver, he’ll open up some opportunities.
