Lucas Glover’s eagle on the second hole of TPC Deere Run on Saturday had a separating quality to it.
Unfortunately for Glover, it was the maximum distance he would put between himself and the rest of the John Deere Classic field on a competitive Moving Day that saw Lee Hodges move into a share of the lead thanks to a bogey-free back nine.

Jackson Suber, Ben Kohles and Zac Blair are T-3, all one shot off the lead.
Doug Ghim became just the 10th player in PGA Tour history since 1983 to hit all 18 fairways and all 18 greens on Saturday in Silvis, Ill. Using a bogey-free 65, Ghim moved up five spots on the leaderboard and sits solo sixth with 18 holes left to play.
Behind him is veteran Zach Johnson, who sits three shots off Glover and Hodges’ lead after sinking a big birdie putt on No. 18.
“It’s always bunched,” said Johnson of the leaderboard at Deere Run. “Maybe at some point somebody will take it deep. Kind of assumed somebody would today given the reception on the greens. The greens were hard to putt speed-wise.
