The LPGA heads from its second major championship to its only team event of the year and Nelly Korda is still the main attraction. The World No. 1 captured her first U.S. Women’s Open last week at Riviera and is playing again this week, partnering with her friend Olivia Cowan, who is seeking her first LPGA title.
That team, dubbed Legally Blonde, and everyone else are playing for the $3.3 million purse at Midland Country Club in Michigan with the winners each taking home $402,691 for a victory. Jin Hee Im and Somi Lee are defending champions.

The 72-hole competition does not award world ranking points but it does still count as an LPGA victory. Players will compete in foursomes in the first and third rounds, then shift to four-ball for the second and final rounds.
LPGA Hall of Fame member Juli Inkster is playing in her first event of the year, teaming with Angel Yin, who Inkster has mentored on tour for years. The Iwai sisters, Akie and Chizzy, and the Jutanugarn sisters, Ariya and Moriya, are all competing.
In all, 11 of the top 25 players in the world will be in action.
Check back here Sunday after play is over for updates.
