For the first time since 1992, none of NASCAR’s national divisions will race in Wisconsin this season.

But there’s still some Wisconsin in NASCAR.

Led by Craftsman Truck Series champion Ty Majeski, a Seymour native who lives in Neenah, a handful of fulltime and parttime drivers from the state will be competing at the highest levels of stock car racing.

Here’s a look at their plans, whether announced or expected:

Fulltime in the No. 98 ThorSport Racing Ford in the Craftsman Truck Series. He has six wins over three seasons with championship finishes of fourth, eighth and first.

Fulltime in the Xfinity Series in the No. 41 Haas Factory Team Ford after 3 ½ years and seven victories with JR Motorsports and Chevrolet. Mayer scored his first win in 2023 at Road America in NASCAR’s final race at the Wisconsin road course, at least for now.

Fulltime in the No. 4 Chevrolet for Alpha Prime Racing in the Xfinity Series after two up-and-down seasons with Jordan Anderson Racing. Retzlaff has recorded three top-fives, 12 top-10s and two poles through 75 Xfinity starts.

Competing most of the season in the DGM Racing No. 91 Chevrolet in the Xfinity Series, plus a limited Cup Series schedule to be determined.

Expecting partial Craftsman Truck Series schedule with ThorSport, although nothing has been announced. He drove the team’s No. 66 Ford in three races last season with top-10 finishes in two of them.

Limited schedule TBA. Kraus made six Cup starts last season with a top finish of 25th. He has committed to the ASA STARS National Tour fulltime.

Working toward a limited Craftsman Truck Series schedule after making three starts last season.

Limited Craftsman Truck Series schedule, probably with some last-minute opportunities arising, including Daytona with ThorSport, which was announced Monday. He has committed fulltime to the ASA STARS National Tour.
