Cam Ward has the best Heisman odds of any quarterback in the race.
However, his candidacy feels like a long shot at best given the seasons produced by Hunter and Jeanty and the recent loss suffered by the Miami Hurricanes.
Ward needs to be perfect against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Syracuse Orange to even have a chance of closing the gap to Hunter and Jeanty.
At minimum, two big games to close out the ACC regular season should confirm Ward’s spot in New York as a Heisman finalist.
Winning the award appears to be out of the question for the Miami qyarterback, though.
