PSG and Barcelona will square off on October 1 in the UEFA Champions League league phase, with both clubs bringing momentum from impressive starts.

The defending champions wasted no time making a statement, dismantling Atalanta 4-0 with a pair of goals in each half, even without Désiré Doue and Ousmane Dembele in the lineup.

Barcelona responded with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Newcastle United, powered by a Marcus Rashford double. With both sides among the tournament’s top contenders, their meeting could prove decisive in shaping the league-phase table.
