WILLMAR — Rachel Bowen helped lead Alexandria to victory as the Willmar girls golf team placed third in a Central Lakes Conference meet on a clear, hot Friday afternoon.
Bowen is a senior who shot a meet-low 76 to earn medalist honors and Alexandria won with 320 strokes at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Brainerd was second at 341 and Willmar came in third at 344.

Bowen was met in the top three by Willmar junior Lucia Martin Rodriguez, who carded a 77 and Sartell senior Gwen Latunski, who secured a 79.
Kennedy Mara was also in the top 10 for Willmar. The junior finished at 83 to earn a share of eighth place alongside Alexandria sophomore Kaiya Chapin.

Lakeview’s boys and girls won their respective divisions in a Camden Conference South Division meet at Savannah Oaks Golf Course in Lynd.
Lakeview’s boys shot 157. The girls had a 217. Yellow Medicine East’s boys took fourth with a 181 and Renville County West’s boys were fifth with an 182.
Lakeview’s Carson Boe took medalist honors with a 35. Canby’s Maddison Richter won the girls’ competition with a 45.
RCW’s Ryan Schrupp tied for fifth with a 39. YME’s Cooper McCosh finished eighth with a 40.
YME’s Abbey Bones tied for fourth with a 52.

The host Bulldogs had the top three finishers in winning a Central Minnesota Conference meet at Koronis Hills Golf Club in Paynesville.
Paynesville notched 154 total strokes, followed by Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa’s 173 and Kimball’s 179. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City placed fourth at 180.
Dylan Christensen earned medalist honors with an even-par 36 for the Bulldogs, which got a second place finish from Isaac Christensen at 37 and a third place finish from Joe Kotten at 39.
Also in the top five were BBE’s Owen Roering and ACGC’s Braxton Kragenbring. The two golfers both carded 41s to share fourth place.
