KINGSLAND The Andrews girls golf team won its third-straight state championship with another dominating performance at the Class 4A State Championships Tuesday at Legends Golf Course.
The Lady Mustangs finished with a team score of 314-319—633, 32 strokes ahead of second place Comal Davenport (343-322—665).
Glen Rose finished third with 337-330—667.
Abby Ballou led the Lady Mustangs with an individual score of 77-77—154, while Emme Darnold hit a 77-81—158 and Sloane Livingston went 76-79—155.
Emma Sauceda went 84-82—166 and Nichole Thomas-Subia finished 84-83—167.
For the Lady Mustangs, it’s their 20th state championship in program history.
