A young girl was reportedly struck by a golf cart Saturday at the 2026 Valspar Championship.
NBC and Golf Channel analyst Smylie Kaufman was walking with the pairing of Brooks Koepka and Danny Walker during the third round at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, Florida, when he reported that a girl had been hit by a golf cart and pinned beneath it near the 15th hole.

Kaufman said Koepka ducked outside the ropes and went over to comfort the girl, who was quickly evaluated by medical staff. No injuries were immediately reported.
“She’s going to be okay after medical evaluation. Very scary moment,” Kaufman said on the broadcast. “I’m sure Brooks Koepka’s head is still spinning a little bit.”
Koepka went on to par the 15th but double-bogey the 16th en route to a round of even-par 71 Saturday at the Valspar Championship.
