Bristol Motor Speedway will be the place to be to see all of the NASCAR stars.

The NASCAR Cup Series will headline the Food City 500 race weekend with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series running throughout the weekend, which is set for April 11-13.

Knowing where to be and when is a key to have a successful, enjoyable and memorable weekend at the racetrack.

Here’s the full weekend schedule for the NASCAR Bristol race, including the Food City 500.

7:30 a.m.: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series haulers enter

7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.: NASCAR credentialing open (Minors prohibited in garage area)

9 a.m.: Garage/infield open (Gate 9, 13)

9:30 a.m.-9:45 p.m.: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series garage open

9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: NASCAR Xfinity Series haulers enter

11 a.m.: BMS parking lots open, BMS Fan Zone open

Noon-5 p.m.: NASCAR Xfinity Series garage open

12:30 pm.: Track services meeting

2:30 p.m.: Spectator gates open (Gates 2, 4, 6, 13, 15; Suite gates 10, 18)

2:35 p.m.: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice (Two groups, 25 minutes each with 5-minute break in between)

3:40 p.m.: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying (Single vehicle, two laps)

4:50 p.m.: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series grid access to properly credentialed guest

6 p.m.: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver introductions

6:30 p.m.: Start of Weather Guard Truck Race (Stages: 65, 65, 120 laps = 133.25 miles)

9:30 p.m. (Approximately): Fan track walk (Frontstretch)

Denny Hamlin managed his tires well in a difficult race as the tire compound Goodyear used in the race chewed up tires on the concrete surface. However, Hamlin was able to lead 163 laps and earn the victory in last year’s Bristol spring race.

When is NASCAR Bristol race

The Food City 500 is set for 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, April 13 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. This is the first of two races at Bristol and three races in Tennessee for the 2025 season. Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick will be in the broadcast booth.
