The PGA Tour returned to the United States this week with the 3M Open commencing play in Blaine, Minnesota at the TPC Twin Cities golf course. Former Spartan Ryan Brehm was in the field for the event.
After an abysmal 3-over 74 round on Thursday, odds of making it to the weekend looked slim for the former Spartan, but on Friday, things got interesting. Brehm played very well on Friday, going 5-under through the first 15 holes, putting him one shot away from the cut line. Unfortunately, three straight pars ended his round, shooting a 66 on the day, going 2-under for the tournament.

That 2-under score would not be enough, though, with Brehm missing out on the cut by just one stroke, ending his week on Friday.
Brehm will look for another start in the last two weeks of the PGA Tour’s regular season.
