This Saturday afternoon marked the third day of the Championship, the second division of English football.

Having joined the bench of the London club QPR this summer, Julien Stéphan, former coach of Rennes and Strasbourg, is experiencing a very difficult start in England.

With two defeats (including one in the cup) and a draw in three matches, Stéphan hoped to secure his first victory this Saturday on the field of Coventry, a team led by Frank Lampard.

Unfortunately for the son of Didier Deschamps’ assistant, this Coventry – QPR match turned into humiliation.

Frank Lampard and his men won… 7 goals to 1. The score was 5-0 at halftime.
