On Monday afternoon, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman announced that San Jose Sharks forward Walker Duehr was again on waivers.

On Jan. 21, the Calgary Flames placed Duehr on waivers, ending his three-and-a-half-year tenure with the club when the Sharks claimed him.

Undrafted, the Flames signed Duehr as a free agent during the 2021-22 season, when he made his NHL debut. Since then, the now 27-year-old had been in and out of the lineup, skating in 84 games with nine goals and 19 points with Calgary.

Moreover, Duehr played 127 games in the AHL, scoring 37 goals and 69 points with the Stockton Heat and the Calgary Wranglers.

Since joining the Sharks on Jan. 22, Duehr has played eight games and only scored two goals. In 92 NHL games, the native of Sioux Falls, ND, has 11 goals and 21 points.
